Grab your lunch and hop on Zoom with us for a virtual presentation about Our Lady of Guadalupe by Kristy Nabhan-Warren, Religious Studies Professor at the University of Iowa. 

Dr. Nabhan-Warren will speak on the history and contemporary devotions to Our Lady of Guadalupe, including the importance of her symbolism traditionally and in more recent years, as well as her significance as a symbol of hope and protection for the oppressed.

The Dynamic Deacon will be speaking on what it means to take a faith-based approach to systemic racism on this Wednesday, November 18 from 7-8:15 pm in a virtual University of Iowa Newman Catholic Student Center event sponsored by our very own Rossi Center and funded by a University Late Night Funding Grant. Check out the video below to hear a little from the Deacon himself on how to best prepare for his talk on Wednesday.
